Description
Hylomar jointing compound. Defense specification DTD 900/4586 manufactured under license from rolls Royce PLC to their specification MSRR9055. A universal jointing compound for use on metal to metal joint faces. Temperature range -50 to 300 °C. Resistant to air, turbine and piston engine combustion products, water, glycol/water and methanol/water mixtures, petroleum and synthetic diester lube oils, gas and kerosene fuels, fluorocarbon refrigerants. Non-flammable, non-hardening, remains plastic in the joint. Different grades are determined by the amount of solvent. Hylomar Aero Grade is a highly engineered gasketing compound for use in the aerospace industry.
