Ansell gives us a step-by-step guide on how to safely remove (doff) your disposable gloves

As more frontline workers join the fight against the spread of COVID-19, single-use protective gloves have taken centre stage. And even in the simple act of wearing and removing these gloves, #safetymatters. Wondering how to do that without risking contamination? Ansell gives us an easy step-by-step tutorial on taking off disposable gloves!

Step 1: With one gloved hand, grasp the outside edge of the other glove near the wrist.

Step 2: Peel the glove away from the hand, turning it inside out. Hold it in the opposite gloved hand.

Step 3: Slide an ungloved finger under the wrist of the remaining glove, being extra careful not to touch the outside of the glove.

Step 4: Peel the remaining glove off from the inside, creating a “bag” containing both gloves. Discard.

Step 5: Thoroughly wash and dry both hands.
