AlcoTec Altigweld 1/8 x 36 inch aluminium TIG welding rod comes in a 10 lb box and has magnesium, manganese, chromium and titanium as a principle alloying elements to produce relatively high shear strength. Non-heat treatable rod is ideally used as a general-purpose type filler alloy and meets ANSI/AWS A5.10 standard. It also meets ALMg5Cr ISO designation. Welding rod with superior work hardening properties can be used in automotive, shipbuilding, defence, containers, recreation and transportation industries. It is also used in welding filler wire and nail wire applications.
