Description
Heat shrink tubing with dual wall construction. The outer jacket is semi-rigid, radiation cross-linked polyolefin that is flame retardant and provides strain relief and abrasion protection. It has 4:1 shrink ratio. The inner layer is a unique hot-melt adhesive designed to adhere to all major automotive wire and terminal insulations. The adhesive forms an effective barrier against fluids and moisture, protects harnesses from corrosion and water wicking and covers a wide temperature range. Dual wall is designed to meet automotive industry requirements for environmental sealing and electrical insulation. Minimum shrink temperature 110°C. Operating temperature range -40 to 130°C.
