The abrasive belt CS 412 Y is of exceptionally high quality and sports a cloth backing made of Y-polyester that offers excellent tear resistance, ensuring a long service life. The abrasive material used for this product is closely coated aluminium oxide with a fully synthetic bond. Aluminum oxide is distinguished by a combination of hardness and toughness that delivers excellent abrasive performance. When used for processing metal, its close coating is responsible for a high removal rate and a consistently high surface quality. The close coating of the abrasive material also ensures that the sanding process is completed with a maximum number of grain points. Resistant to water thanks to its tear-resistant polyester, this abrasive belt is ideally suited for both wet and dry grinding. The abrasive belt CS 412 Y is recommended for rough sanding as well as intermediate and finish sanding on surfaces and edges. Klingspor has developed it specifically for use in metalworking. This premium abrasive belt can be combined with pedestal sanders, surface grinding machines and center less sanding machines.
