While attending holiday parties it will involve good food and some alcohol consumption. You want to make sure your guests have a great time, it is important to ensure everyone is being safe and responsible.
If you are hosting a party here are some important tips:
Have a designated driver – one of the basic rules. Know who the designated driver is.
Keep taxi numbers on hand – someone may have decided to drink and important to have a quick safe option.
Offer non-alcoholic drinks – for the designated drivers or those who do not drink.
Provide plenty of food – when people drink on an empty stomach it can lead to intoxication quicker. Eating and drinking will help people drink in moderation and slow down intoxication.
Last call 90 minutes before end of party – only time sobers people up. Offer nonalcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, water and snacks before your guests head out the door.
